Woman in wheelchair with a water hose breaks her ankle, injures herself in California
A woman in a wheelchair with an inflatable water hose broke her ankle when she fell into it while standing at a park fountain in San Francisco, police said.
The incident happened Saturday in the Castro neighborhood of the city.
It happened about 10:30 p.m. as the woman was taking a break from work at the fountain, police Officer Albie Esparza said.
She suffered a broken ankle and was taken to a hospital.
The water hose has a hose that’s designed to catch rainwater that collects on a building, Esparzas said.
The water hose is attached to a pole and attached to the pole by a wire.
